Admission Requirements and Procedures

Admission requirements vary by program and are subject to change. To enroll in any of the post-secondary programs offered at State Career College (SCC), each prospective student must meet the following requirements:

  • Participate in an interview
  • Be at least 17 years old
  • Government-issued ID
  • Graduated from high school or obtained a General Education Development (GED) certificate
  • Sign the High School Attestation form
  • Meet the additional program-specific requirements outlined below

Phlebotomy Technician — program-specific

  • Complete health assessment by a healthcare professional
  • Provide immunization records(including TB Screening, Hepatitis B Series or Waiver, Measles Mumps Rubella (MMR), COVID, and Tetanus)
  • Pass a criminal background check
  • CPR Certification
  • Additional requirements may be required
