Information we collect and how we use it
State Career College (“SCC,” “we,” “us”) operates statecareercollege.edu and related admissions and student-support experiences. We collect information you provide when you request information, apply for admission, apply for employment, chat with us, call us, or otherwise contact the school.
Information you provide may include your name, email address, phone number, postal/ZIP code, program interest, message content, resume and job-application materials, and any other details you choose to submit. We use this information to respond to inquiries, support admissions and career applications, improve our services, and meet legal or regulatory obligations.
Cookies, analytics, and third-party tools
Our website is hosted on Vercel. Pages and images may be delivered via Vercel’s edge network and Sanity’s content CDN. These services may set technical cookies or similar technologies needed to operate the site, balance traffic, and protect against abuse.
We use LeadConnector (GoHighLevel) for live chat and related lead-capture features. LeadConnector may set cookies or local storage and process chat transcripts and contact details you provide in chat according to LeadConnector’s practices and our instructions.
If Google Analytics (GA4) or similar measurement tools are enabled, they may collect device and usage data (for example pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP, and referral source) to help us understand how the site is used. You can limit analytics cookies through your browser settings where available.
Forms on this site may forward inquiry data to our customer relationship tools (for example a CRM webhook) and store submissions in our Sanity CMS so staff can follow up. Career applications are stored in Sanity Studio and emailed to designated school and agency contacts via Resend.
Choices for personal information
You may decline to submit personal information; some services (such as request-info forms or chat) will not work without it. Most browsers accept cookies by default; you can configure your browser to refuse cookies or alert you when a cookie is set. Disabling cookies may affect site features such as chat.

We share personal information only in limited circumstances: with your consent; with service providers who process data on our behalf (hosting, CMS, chat, email delivery, CRM) under appropriate confidentiality and security expectations; or when we believe disclosure is reasonably necessary to comply with law, enforce our terms, detect or prevent fraud or security issues, or protect the rights, property, or safety of SCC, our students, or the public.
Information security and retention
We restrict access to personal information to employees, contractors, and agents who need it to perform their duties. We retain inquiry and application records for as long as needed for admissions, employment, compliance, and legitimate business purposes, then delete or anonymize them according to our retention practices.
