Admissions Requirements
State Career College requires entering students to be at least 17 years of age and have earned a HS Diploma or GED. Each applicant will also need to meet with an Admissions Advisor and submit a formal application. Additional admissions criteria may also be required, but varies by program. Additional details by programs can be found below.
Practical Nursing Admissions Requirements
- To be accepted for admission, State Career College requires entering students to be at least 17 years of age, have graduated from high school, or have secured a GED.
- Students must sign the High School Attestation form.
- Students must meet the 60% score for admission entrance test requirement: the basic Reading, Math, Science, and
English skills. For admission test scores below 60%, please refer to the admission policy regarding test scores
below 60%. - Criminal background check with no disqualifying records.
- Five Panel Urine Drug Test.
- Students must attend the Distance Education orientation before class.
